My grand-parents still live, except one of my grandfathers. My mum's mum can hardly walk, but you can talk to her about everything and anything. My other grandma still can walk, she's my sports-grandma. I like them both.
How about you? Do your grandparents still live, and how's your relationship to them? Or how was is, when they lived?
My dad's parents are both still alive and very active. I am very close with them. I don't know what I would do without them. They are like my second parents. My mom's parents passed away when I was younger they were great also. Grandparents are awesome! smile- angel
All of my grandparents are still alive and very active, especially my grandmother on my mom's side. She is 74 and she still skis, and plays golf and tennis. My grandfather on myy mom's side is not as active as my grandmother, because he has an artificial hip. My grandparents on my dad's side are still really healthy for their ages, but not nearly as active as my other grandparents. I am a lot closer with my grandparents on my mom's side than I am with the grandparents on my Dad's, but I still love them all the same. Their awesome!

I didn't grow up in this country and so consequently my grandparents never played a major part in my life. I didn't return to this country until I was 19 so by then it wasn't a big deal to me to have grandparents. Truth be told, I resented the fact that people suddenly expected me to be the dutiful granddaughter when they had never played a part in my life.
Unfortunately we never met our grandparents and we really wish things were different..however we have Giovanni our uncle who in many respects is very like a grandfather,so we are consoled by that....
..and we hope to meet up one day in the future...
my grandma on my moms side is still alive, but my grandpa isnt. he died when i was two years old, so i didnt know him at all. my grandmas still very active for 75, she works as a waitress, and my stepdads parents are cool too. they speak primarily spanish, so im working on mine. its pretty easy though, cause ive been around it a large part of my life.

Both my grandmothers are still alive, but they live in Nigeria so I don't talk to them that much. My grandfather on my mom's side died before I was born so I never new him. My grandfather on my mom's side died when I was little and my dad says I got to talk to him but I don't remember.
My grandmother is still alive. She's who I live with. That's my moms mom. And I think my dads mom died. And I think my step moms mom died. I don't know about my moms dad. So, I don't have any grand fathers. Oh. Wait, I do have one however; I don't know him he's a P I M P. He's on his 7th wife. Oh geeze....
Both of my Grandfathers died, but my grandmothers are still alive. I'm close with them both, and tey're both still quite active. My grandmother on my dad's side is ninety, and she still drive and enjoys going places.
Yeah, the grandpa of mine who's dead, he died when I was one year old. Once, one year ago, I was calling my grandmother, his widow, and caught her crying on the phone and wondered what happened, and she just said "you know, your grandpa died 16 years ago, that's why I'm crying". I only realized then that she still misses him a lot. This honestly shocked me a bit. Actually, this grandmother worries about me all the time, more than my mother does.
They are elsewhere, and thus I can't claim there existence on earth.
I didn't know any of them, and gby the sound of it, I wouldn't have wanted to know them.
My grandparents on my dad's side either smoked, drank or both. I didn't like my grandfather when I talked to him briefly on the phone. My mother's father was a player, flirted and maried two woman.
